Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for revealing Your Love for me in the person of Your Son, Jesus Christ. I thank you for creating me, and I know that through Jesus I can have a brand new life and become a new creation! I want this new life. I know that only in You is my happiness to be found and I want to discover your plan for my life. Yet I am still so stuck on my own plans and can't seem to let go.
Please grant me the grace to surrender everything to you. Help me to be open to a New Way! Help me to Trust in Your Fatherly Goodness and Guidance. Help me to stay close to you in prayer as you reveal yourself to me more and more each day. Help me to become the person You want me to be. Help me to do the things you want me to do and say the things you want me to say. Help me to be less concerned with what others are doing and saying, and be more concerned that I don't miss any opportunities to bring Your Love to them. Amen.
